BriXel Care end-user licence agreement

Applies to BriXel Care 0.1.2.

BriXel Care is a software solution by BriXel Zone, created and published by
Tajammal Hussain ("the publisher", contact: https://brixelzone.uk/contact).
Copyright (c) 2026 Tajammal Hussain.
All rights reserved.

1. Licence. BriXel Care is free of charge. The publisher grants you a personal,
non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, install and use it on
computers that you own or control, for your own use, including at work.

2. What you may not do, except where the law or section 4 allows it: sell, rent,
lend, sublicense or bundle the software; upload or host copies of it for others
to download (link to the official download page instead); remove the copyright
or publisher notices; or use the BriXel Zone or BriXel Care names to suggest
that your own product, or a changed copy, is official.

3. Ownership. The software is licensed, not sold. The source code is not included
and is not available. The publisher keeps all rights not expressly granted.

4. What the law lets you do anyway. Nothing here stops you doing what UK law
allows regardless of contract, such as making a back-up copy you need, or
decompiling to the limited extent the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988
permits. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

5. Third-party components. BriXel Care includes Qt/PySide6 and other components
that are licensed to you under their own licences, listed in
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md. Those licences, including the right to replace the
LGPL libraries and to reverse engineer the app as far as needed to debug such
a replacement, take priority over this agreement for those components.

6. Tips. Using BriXel Care never requires payment. Any tip is voluntary and is
not a fee for the software; see TERMS.md.

7. Ending. The licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Then stop
using the software and delete your copies. Sections 3 and 5 continue.

8. Law. The law of England and Wales applies. If you live elsewhere in the UK,
you keep any protection your local law gives you.

Warranty, liability and the health notice are in TERMS.md.
